Wheat or Snow?

Over the last few days we have been struggling hard at work. Not to say I do much in my tractor, but when I have to get out it's a whole different story. This year Brad's uncle and auntie are storing their wheat in ring bunkers. This is a new idea they had never tried before so it was a bit of trial and error for all of us. They work well, that is if you can get the entire thing full before the rain comes. We have had to pull-off and pull-on this yellow tarp multiple times because we see as little as one cloud coming our way. No matter what the time be whether it be 11pm or 2am, it needs to be done or the wheat can get ruined. After the 3rd time we got pretty good at it and could complete the task in just over 10 mins with strings fastened. When climbing through the wheat it almost has the same consistency as snow, you sink and it's hard to lift yourself out of. It also works well for tobogganing!
