Things to be Aware of - Farm Life

Things to be aware of out on the farm:

Number 1: FLIES - hate them...literally everywhere. I'll be lucky if I get through the season without swallowing one. It happens...and it's common.

Tip: A sunhat with a laundry bag over it makes a great fly protector...except you can't eat with it on, which happens to be when the flies know you're more vulnerable...with your mouth open.

Number 2: DIRT/STRAW TORNADOS - beware, they happen almost instantly. You could find yourself in one and have no escape.

Tip: Keep tractor windows and door closed at all times. Look both ways before opening.
