New Years in Brisbane

My dream come true was to see the Sydney fireworks over the Sydney Harbour Bridge for New Year's in Aus of course because it's something I've always seen on TV back at home to be a great hit. We started to make our way down the east coast with Daniel, Ebb and Brad's parents to our destination in Sydney for our skydive Jan 4th. Unfortunately known of us wanted to drive 10 hrs in one day and then spend 3 days in Sydney doing not much so I settled on Brisbane for New Year's. To me the fireworks I'm sure were just as good and I had never explored Brisbane yet so it was a great thing to do there. We took the ferry into South Bank along the river where there were 2 sets of fireworks. It turned out to be a great night in the city of Brisbane! Crazy to think I was technically living in a different year than my friends and family at home for a whole 15 hrs!
