Water Divining

Today Mark, Brad's other uncle, taught me about water divining. I asked him how people know where to dig in order to set up a bore windmill and get water out of the ground. He told me you have to bring in a water diviner. Back in the day before technology could tell you, someone who had the talent (only some do) would have to come to your farm and use 2 metal wires with handles to figure out where the water was existent. When you hold the wires up, they cross when the water is under you. I took some metal wire off a gas can to give it a try, it worked! I went right over where the bore was and the wires crossed. I was also able to see which direction the underground stream was running when I walked around the bore.
