Halloween on the Farm

This halloween wasn't that exciting because we pretty much worked the entire day and night. However, I can say I at least got to dress up as a farmer. Halloween is not celebrated much in Australia anyway, so it was a good year to have to work it. I never understood the relation between halloween and farming, like when you're trick-or-treating and everyone has their city homes dressed up with corn stalks, pumpkins, scarecrows, and hay bails. To me, I'd say it's because Halloween is during harvest season, then again I'm not sure when harvest season takes place in Canada. Happy Halloween! ...or should I say harvest season.
