Man Made Machine, Dancing Routine

Today was a crazy day at work. We put up our first tunnel! Over the winter the tunnels are taken down to allow the raspberry cane to get frost on them, this is said to guarantee a better crop. The task is more easily said than done. You need at least a minimum of 15 ppl to put 1 tunnel up. Once you get the routine down it runs quite smoothly, but you can never forget the constant reminder or who is in charge - nature! When the wind picks up, there goes the tunnel (bad idea to hold on), if there's a hill on the farm you have to walk up it no difference, all of these in the beaming hot sun or freezing cold chill!

My role:

remove all strings and black plastic wrap from tunnel plastic

find poker

feed beginning of tunnel to guys on platform

poke the plastic over the tunnel frame at least 30 times on the '2' count of '1,2,3'

grab piece of plastic and everyone pulls down at the same time

walk up to temporary rope now over tunnel and put all your weight into tieing it

run through platform without getting run over and get back into spot position on next tunnel
