First Horse Racing

I experienced a completely different sport today, horse racing. Brad's cousin Trent owns/shares horses that race every other Sunday. Nat (Trent's gf who I hang out with all the time) invited us out to see the races. We saw Baldez, Like the Wolf, and Illyshi race but unfortunatley Brad didn't win any money off them. Baldez is def a 1st place horse, Illyshi however they reckon they will sell to a kids riding school. It's kinda fun to be able to bet, I didn't know ppl took it so seriously. It's a whole different form of gambling I suppose and there is a full industry behind it with trainers, jockeys, owners, shareholders, and staff for the races. I also kind of felt bad for the horses, strange they are allowed to be whipped when coming to the finish line.
