Looking for a Job

We haven't been home for long but as soon as the car was unpacked it was time to crunch down and find a job. I've literally searched high and low for any agricultural work in the area where Brad's parents live. With the Working Holiday Visa I need to do 88 days in agricultural, mining, construction, fishing/pearling, foresty work to fulfill visa requirements. The days are supposed to be at least 6 hrs long and if you work over time it still only counts as 1 day. The idea behind this is that Aus has trouble employing their own Australian workers because the work is more manual labour and the Aussies just don't want to do it. I don't blame them, I prob wouldn't go look for work at home on a paddock somewhere bending my back a million times a day. I'm sure it's tough stuff! If I don't complete these days, I won't be able to come back to Aus with Brad again and work...unless I want to pay $7,000 for permanent residency. I'm looking forward to the experience I will gain in a completely different industry, something I know nothing about. Of course, the only jobs available right now seem to be hospitality! How does this happen?!
