Seeing Penguins Feed

Late this evening we went to a viewing area that is known for penguin habitat. I was lucky enough to see about 12 penguins, 4 adults who came up from the ocean to feed their 2 young babies each. They were the smallest penguins that exist, Fairy penguins (also known as Little penguins or Blue penguins). They live for about 5 - 8 years and roughly have their young every 8 months (only 33 days of pregnancy). The adult will only feed their own young, however the babies will try and take food from any adult that comes up. The red light is for their safety and so they don't run away.
